Ruff' Boards!

Here's a random selection of the first pass of the storyboards for the film. These will later be "touched up" by Andreas and used to create both the animatic, as well as layouts for the animators to work from.

These boards are all from the first half of the film.

Yay!

So, the team of animators has been confirmed! Come October we will be joined by Emil Sellström, Israel Hernandez, Marie-Louise H. Jensen and Rebecca Sørensen. We all look forward to starting work with them and really get the film on tracks!

In other news: Monty and I have started storyboarding the film, and are pleased to find that the stylistic choices we made in the pre-boarding phase are really paying off in the actual boards. They look beautiful and promising!
We'll post some examples in a few days!

In development

Here's a first look at some of our design-ideas. We're still developing the style of the film, but we're fairly certain that we'll go for a simple, expressive look, that will allow a wide range of approaches for diffrent scenes in the film. The backgrounds will have colour, but we'd like to keep the characters black and white. All these drawings are of cource done by the talented Andreas Monty Freddie. We'll post more soon, so keep your eyes peeled!
